Golfing in Djibouti is not like any game of golf you have ever played before. For starters, you will play side by side with free roaming camels!
The Douda Golf Club is one course that you will remember for a lifetime. The course is located right near the border of Djibouti and Somalia. Part of the experience will be the fun, bumpy ride you will have to take to get to the course from the airport or your hotel. The “greens” are made of packed oil and dirt. Each person is issued a piece of turf to hit off of, because there is no grass, anywhere. People who have previously played the course recommend using an old, worthless set of clubs, because the terrain will definitely abuse them.

Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
